On July 17, 2023, the University hosted Moses Odhiambo Arogo, Director of Ruothy Educational Services (Private) Limited (Zimbabwe). Ruothy is an international student recruitment agency for education and job placements based in Harare, Zimbabwe. Over the last 12 years they have managed to recruit over 3,000 students to study in more than 50 destinations globally.
BSTU Rector Ihar Voitau made a comprehensive overview of educational programs offered at the University as well as living and accommodation conditions for international students. The parties highlighted the high level of bilateral relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Zimbabwe and the strong potential for cooperation in the field of education and training.
Moses Odhiambo Arogo had the opportunity to explore the laboratory and material facilities of BSTU, the university lecture halls, computer classrooms of IT Faculty, student research laboratories of the Department of Polymer Composite Materials, Department of biotechnology, Department of Glass and Ceramics Technology, Department of Technology of Inorganic Substances and General Chemical Technology, BSTU Xylotheque, exhibition of research developments. The guest visited BSTU dormitories and cafeteria as well as Negoreloe Forestry Experimental Station.
